DRIVERS LAST CHANCE FOR PRE-ENTRY, BONUSES
(Middlebourne, WV) Heading into it’s third season the Modified “MEGA 100” touts some of the biggest accolades in dirt modified racing. Undoubtedly set to pay the most money to modified teams in the Eastern United States the event boasts a total payout over fifty grand. One hundred plus laps, three complete shows, two full days of racing action, and the only five figure payout for the division in the Ohio Valley are just a few more of the great selling points of the event. For the modifieds it has quickly become the ‘crown jewel’ of the region.

For Tennessee native, Shon Flanary, its an event circled with no questions every winter. Drivers from as far off as Florida like Stark, FL’s Sean Monaghan in 2016 and Todd Neihieser of Panama City, FL in 2015. USMTS regulars; Texas’ Rodney Sanders, Oklahoma’s Jason Hughes among others have been part of the event as well. Although many have tried, Jacob Hawkins has earned the events top title in back to back seasons. The Fairmont, WV native remains a heavy favorite as he continues dominance in the division throughout the Ohio Valley.

Now just nineteen days out the 3rd Annual “Mega 100” weekend is shaping up to be the biggest yet! Officials are excited to extend pre-entry registration through this Friday June 16th. The extension will assist racers, allowing them ample time to enter and reap the rewarding incentives. Officials are firm that this is the last chance to save money on pre-entry and qualify for the winners bonuses.
Race winners who PRE-ENTER will win $3,000 during Saturday’s twin main events. Winners who PRE-ENTER will win $10,000 for a triumph on Sunday’s main event. It is to be noted that if any winner is not pre-entered they will receive $2,000 on Saturday and $7,000 on Sunday. Purse from 2nd through the remaining field will stay the same regardless of entry. Racers also receive a $30 savings. At the gate entry fee is $130, early entry through Friday is only $100.

“In an effort to maximize pre-entry for the promoter and exposure for the event/teams we have established winners bonuses for those pre-entered into the event” stated Cody Watson. “Pre-entry is a great tool for the fans which make these events a possible so we ask that drivers please take advantage of this” added Watson.

“This can be refunded at the drivers request if made prior to the event date [July 1st] in the case that something comes up. We understand that there may be things happen between now and then with damaged cars, emergencies, unforeseen reasons, and etc” concluded Watson.
