Autograph Night This Week At Raceway 7

Conneaut, OH (June 14, 2017): fans will be treated to a special night this Friday at Raceway 7 when all the cars will be brought to the main straight for an autograph session. The annual event allows all out fans to meet and converse with drivers and crew as well as get autographs of their favorites. The event will happen at intermission time at the conclusion of the qualifying heat races.

When the features are run the Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stocks will be racing for $400 to win, their biggest payout of the season. Last Friday, when the event was originally scheduled, 35 of the exciting compacts signed in to do battle including former champions Dale Fraschetti , Brad Cole, and Jason Easter. Other area hotshoes are expected to compete, including current points leaders Bill Fuchs, Joe Campbell, Jim Jones, Wes Stull, and Logan Keney along with Andy Proper and Casey Burch. Easier and Dale Fraschetti , both former class champions, and Joe Campbell all have feature wins this far in the season.

The Evergreen Lake Park Campground CARS Crate Late Models will also be in action with former champions Dennis Lunger, Kyle Zimmerman, and Chas Wright at the top of the points list after two weeks of competition. Wendall Pinckney runs fourth with week 2 winner Chris Withers fifth. Chad Wright won opening night.

Many-time Raceway 7 champion Joel Watson has the lead in the Bonnell Collision Center E-Mods without a win yet this season. The winningest driver in Raceway 7‘s history currently leads early-season winner Ken Zimmer, Troy Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Gary Eicher. Every driver in the top ten is a proven winner. Who will it be this week.

Opening night winner Brandon Blackshear leads the Bonnell’s Auto Group Economod points tilt over Steve Haefke, who won June 2. Eric Reinwald picked up the win June 9 and runs third in the standings. Geoff Conn and Mitchell Wright, both poised to pick up their first-ever feature wins, fill out the top five.

Former champion Shaun Fawcett leads the way in the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stock division over Anthony Marotto by 26 points. Jamie Duncan, Tony Spaghetti, and Garrett Calvert fill out the top five.

Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for regular events is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
