Busy Month Of June Slated At Tyler County Speedway

(Middlebourne, WV) With the early part of the 2017 racing schedule at the ‘Bullring’ being plagued by Mother Nature speedway officials have rescheduled a few events with more to come setting up a huge month of June. Looking for a staycation close to home this summer the Tyler County Speedway has something for all gearheads in the family as the premier motorsports venue in the state offers up a heaping helping dose of excitement every Saturday Night at a very fan friendly affordable price.

A NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION FEATURING THE KINGS OF KARNAGE: First up will be the Kings of Karnage event on Saturday Night, June 3rd. The Hometown Racing Association in conjunction with Thomas Motorsports will present a family friendly event featuring School Bus racing, demolition derbies, figure 8 racing, kids power wheel derby, plus the ‘Ricky Bobby’ 100 lap Enduro race. Plus a Tyler County specialty as the kids of the Gear 2 Graphics MWRA Mini Wedge division will kick off the show at 5pm, followed by a full program of Sigler Fabrication EDGE Hotmods and Jenkins Auto Parts Modlites. The biggest weekly division at the Tyler County Speedway, the EDGE Hotmods will do battle for the 3rd Workin’ Man World Championship qualifier spot of the season. Already punching their ticket into the season ending WMWC event sponsored by Simonton Windows has been Travis Thomas and Jordan Shaffer. Gates open at 2pm with the show getting underway at 5pm, general admission is just $10 with pit prices at $20.

ENJOY A FREE NIGHT AT THE BULLRING; ‘PACK THE TRACK’ HIGHLIGHTED BY AUTOGRAPH NIGHT & PAT HERRICK MEMORIAL: Join us Saturday Night, June 10 at the Tyler County Speedway as the Hometown Racing Association will roll out the 4th edition of the extremely popular ‘Pack the Track’ FREE Night. A complete 7 division program, highlighted by offering the best fans in motorsports a general admission seat to the most action packed speedway in the region for absolutely zero cost. That’s right enjoy a night at the ‘Bullring’ on the house! Get a free ticket from your favorite driver and help him or her land on the pole position in each class as the driver with the most returns earns the highly coveted prize. Not only is the Tyler County Speedway inviting the community out to the speedway free of charge but it’s also Autograph Night at intermission. A great opportunity to take the kids trackside and meet and greet all their favorite drivers. Plus don’t miss the rescheduled running of the 7th Annual Jenkins Auto Parts Modlite Pat Herrick Memorial paying $800 to win. A great night to bring the family and experience a night of action at the Tyler County Speedway.

16th ANNUAL EATON/CHILDERS FASTRAK KING OF THE RING JOINED BY THE RESCHEDULED 13th ANNUAL DICKSON CLASSIC: A fantastic way to celebrate Fathers Day weekend is by bringing good ol’ dad to the Tyler County Speedway. A truly nostalgic night as we pay tribute to some legendary speedway icons in Beecher Eaton, Bill Childers and Paul and Ellenora Dickson. A $2,000 to win FASTRAK Late Model invitational will see the regions best crate motored racers battle it out in the 16th Annual Eaton/Childers King of the Ring. Also adding to the robust night of motorsports will be the rescheduled 13th Annual Dickson Classic for AMRA Modifieds. Fans of the open wheel machines will be greeted to a fantastic show as the Ohio Valley’s best modified hotshoes embark on the ‘Bullring’ looking to add their name to the prestigious Dickson Classic winners list. It is also Mega 100 qualifiers in all divisions, witness the ‘Bullring’s best as they strap in just a little bit tighter with the importance of locking in a guaranteed starting spot in the Fourth of July Mega 100 Weekend. Two marquee races, guaranteed starting sports up for grabs in the Mega 100 and an opportunity to show appreciation to some past speedway legends, all in one jam packed night. Oh yeah, there will be typical Tyler County Speedway three and four wide action to boot.

REDNECK THUNDER HIGHLIGHTED BY MAYHEM IN THE MOUNTAINS MUD BOG & POWER PULLING PRODUCTIONS SANCTIONED LUCAS OIL PRO PULLING LEAGUE: We close out the busy month of June on Saturday, June 24th at the Tyler County Speedway with something a little different. An all-day event dubbed ‘Redneck Thunder’ will see monsters of the mud tackle the mud pit at the ‘Bullring’ at noon. Nine divisions of mud racing will square off in a speed pit and 2′ mud pit. Divisions include Big Outlaw, Little Outlaw, Class #3, 4 & 6 Cylinder, Street Stock, Mod Street, Hot Street, Super Street and Outlaw.
Then the focus will shift to the Tyler County Speedway at 7pm as the Power Pulling Productions sanctioned Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will take center stage as four classes of Trucks will light up the ‘Bullring’ with pure pulling power. Featured pulling classes will be the Super Stock 4×4’s, 8,000 Open Street Diesel Trucks, 6,200 Pro Stock 4×4’s, and the 6700 Street Legal 4×4’s. General admission is just $10 per event or enjoy a $20 all access pass for both.

Tyler County Speedway is located 3 ½ miles south of Middlebourne, WV on State Route 18 at the Tyler County Fairgrounds approximately an hour from Wheeling, Clarksburg & Parkersburg.
