(Guysville, Ohio) As the staff at the Skyline Speedway works to prepare for the summer portion of their 2017 racing season, the track has made the decision to add an additional event to the racing schedule on June 23rd, to replace the originally scheduled May 21st event which has been cancelled.

The June 23rd event will feature all regular classes (plus Mini Wedges) competing throughout the night plus a special addition of Mechanics Races for the Sport Mods and 4-Cylinder classes to close the night.

The staff at the Skyline Speedway have heard from numerous drivers, car owners and fans who want more racing throughout the summer months at Skyline. The track felt that June 23rd would be a solid addition to the schedule and not conflict with the handshake agreement between Midway Speedway and Skyline Speedway in which both tracks would respectfully not host events against one another

The month of June is set looks to be a very exciting one for the Skyline Speedway as the track will kick it all off with racing on June 2nd with a special $5 General Admission “Fan Appreciation” night plus a Greg Schilling Memorial Qualifier. The next week, the track will pick the action up even more with the running of the 9th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial, as the long popular crown jewel Modified event returns to the Skyline Speedway after a 2 year absence. Racing activities will conclude for the month of June, on the 23rd and the track looks forward to the busy month of racing!
