Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks Invade PPMS Saturday For Willie White Memorial

September 6, 2016 (Sandy Lake, PA) A fun-filled weekend will take place on Saturday, September 10th at PPMS and Sunday, September 11th at Tri City Raceway Park. The Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Series will return to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday for the Inaugural Willie White Memorial event paying $2,055 to-win, $100 to start. The event will be a non-points night for the Series. The Touring Series will then travel to Tri City Raceway Park for a point race on Sunday for the rescheduled $500 to-win, $700 bonus to-win event.

PPMS is located at 170 Kelso Road, Imperial, PA 15126. Gates will open at 5 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m., and racing at 7 p.m. A $25 registration fee will be charged for all drivers participating in Saturday’s race, qualifying Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Championship Touring Series’ drivers for contingency prizes. The contingency prizes sponsored by the Homak Penn Ohio Pro Stock Series’ sponsors to be given at Saturday’s event include (2) $25 Big Daddy’s gift certificates; a $100 hard charger award donated by Animal Graphics & Signs; a $100 Close Racing Supply gift certificate; a $100 Phantom Graphics gift certificate; a $25 gift certificate from Wedge Motorsports; and a $25 gift certificate donated by Precise Racing Products.

Tri City Raceway Park is located at 3430 Route 417, Franklin, PA. Gates will open at 1 p.m. with racing at 4 p.m. A $25 registration fee will be charged for all drivers participating in the make-up event on Sunday. All drivers will be eligible for a Hoosier tire and American Racer tire going to the highest finisher on that tire; while Touring Series member drivers will be eligible for a variety of additional contingency prizes ranging from a bead lock to gift certificates to cash. Sponsoring the contingency prizes are Homak Manufacturing, Hoosier Tire by Precise, American Racer by Lias Tire, Precise Racing Products, Les Frickshun, S S Chassis, Close Racing Supply, Wedge Motorsports, Big Daddy’s Speed Center, and Phantom Signs & Graphics. A hard luck award worth $25 will be presented by Shaffer’s Auto Service. Additionally, the hard charger sponsor for this event will be 7W Racing/Slider Chassis for $77.
