Derek Doll of Greenwood, WV has already secured his 2nd J&R Excavating Super Late Model presented by Midcap Land and Timber track championship in a row aboard the famous Doll Bros. #87. A hard fought battle for second between Chad Smith and Nick Corbitt will be settled Saturday as the duo is gridlocked at 155.

Danny Thomas aboard the 7JR will wrap up his 3rd track championship and first FASTRAK Late Model division championship by virtue of just starting the feature event. Ryan Payne and Tyler Stutler currently sit 2nd and 3rd in the highly competitive class.

In a hotly contested Gear 2 Performance EDGE Hotmod division presented by Poske’s Performance Parts will see the economical class settle their 2016 championship in style as three competitors will head into the last event with a chance at greatness as just 13 points separate the trio. Currently Middlebourne, WV’s Mick Baker leads the way with an eight point advantage over 2015 champion Travis Thomas and holds a 13 point margin over Roland Bell who is currently on a three race win streak.

The tightest race of season is in the Chris Metz State Farm Insurance Modlites as teammates Josh Baldwin and Ryan Saffell of Beallsville, Ohio are in the midst of a season long game of cat and mouse. Last years track champion Baldwin has just a one point lead over the young Saffell as both drivers will head to the ‘Bullring’ Saturday night with aspirations of picking up the season championship hardware.

Perennial 4 Cylinder track champion Donnie Wamsley of Clarksburg, WV will add yet another ‘Bullring’ track championship trophy to his crowded mantle besting an improving Sambo Cokeley.
Philip Bubeck and George Casto III currently sit atop the MWRA Mini Wedge heap and both look to place their names in the Tyler County Speedway history books with their first ever track championships.

Two Brothers Motorsports Chassis Giveaway: In the battle for the AMRA Modified Chassis giveaway donated by class supporter and sponsor Junior Nolan of Two Brothers Motorsports, Shawn Jett currently sits atop the leader board heading into the final event while just 7 points separate the top four contenders.
