As the dirt racing season in the Ohio Valley region quickly approaches, officials at the Skyline Speedway located in Stewart Ohio are preparing for an exciting season of racing in 2016 at the 3/8 mile clay oval. Back under the leadership of long time promoter Billy Jarrell in 2016, Skyline will once again host racing on Friday nights and will feature many of the tracks favorite classes from years past. Regular racing programs will include AMRA Late Models, AMRA Modifieds and OVSCA Sprint Cars plus Semi Late Models and the WRA Mini Wedges, as a part of the tracks regular classes. Skyline also plans to run 305 Sprints, Mini Sprints and other TBA classes on a part time basis in 2016.

While operating on a more limited basis in 2016, Skyline Speedway looks to return to its popular racing tradition with a schedule highlighted by some of the tracks most popular events including the Jack Shutts Memorial, Sara Bond “Big Three” and the Harvest 50. The tracks season opening event is tentatively set for April 1st and the track intends to host races the first 2-3 Friday’s of each month (Final Schedule TBA). In an effort to offer fans affordable family racing entertainment, adult general admission will be set at $10 with kids 12-under receiving free general admission for regular shows and a Special Event Rate in place for TBA special events.

Aligning with the American Motor Racing Association (AMRA) again in 2016, Skyline Speedway will provide drivers and teams with another exciting venue to battle for an AMRA National Points Championship in the Late Model and Modified divisions throughout the course of the season. Skyline Speedway will also be a part of the return of the STARS Late Model Series, as the AMRA/STARS Late Model tour will converge on Skyline for a $2,500 to win Late Model special, as a part of the Jack Shutts Memorial on July 22nd. Also working in close cooperation with the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association (OVSCA), Skyline will host OVSCA sanctioned Sprint Cars throughout the season and serve as a staple in the 2016 schedule for the longtime popular sprint car tour.

**Skyline will host the Harvest 50 in 2016, which will be held on a soon to be announced date.
