This Saturday August 8th will be the biggest FASTRAK Pro Late Model event of the year at Princeton Speedway as they will take the green flag of the 5th Annual Upper Big Branch Miners Memorial Race paying $5,000 to win and $250 to start. There will be a $100 entry for this event that will go 40 laps. This is set to be a historic night at the track as the FASTRAK Late Models have never run for this much money at Princeton Speedway. There will also be $290 for the Fast Qualifier and the winner of the Fast Six Dash. There will be $100 up for grabs for the Hard Charger Award and Pro Power Performance will be giving 10 gallons of Sunoco Race Fuel to the longest tow! We will follow FASTRAK rules, but crate drivers may run the tires of their series on the front. The rear tries will need to be FASTRAK tires. Also on the card will be AMRA Open Wheel Modifieds, Outlaw Modified Streets, Street Stocks, Outlaw Minis, and Mini Wedges. This will be an exciting night of racing you don’t want to miss! That’s not all though! From 5-6 there will be three generations of racing signing autographs with David Collins Sr, David Collins Jr., and Logan Collins also on the hill will be Aaron Barley who locked in from the UBB Qualifier and the much improved rookie driver Shane Minnix. All these drivers look foward to meeting you so make sure you come out and see them. There will be a couple other of car shows throughout the day before the event as well at Bill Cole Auto Mall and Bojangles. Gates will open at the track at 4 with racing starting at 7. In addition to all that we have going on Saturday for the UBB Miners Memorial we now have added something very special. Belinda Barlow Meadows will be singing her song Unseen Heroes. She wrote this song after the UBB disaster and we are very delighted to announce she will be singing it live at the track for us Saturday night to honor the fallen 29. General Admission will be $15 (kids 10 and under free) and the Pits will be $30. Come out to the biggest Pro Late Model Race Princeton Speedway has ever had!
