Legendary Hilltop Sets Postponed Dates

Following 3 rain outs in a row to end the month of June, the staff at Legendary Hilltop has made adjustments to their July and August schedule in order to hold the postponed events at a new date. The postponed events will operate as they were originally scheduled and the staff at Legendary Hilltop asks all fan’s and teams to stay tuned to the tracks various social media sites and www.legendaryhilltopspeedway.com for further updates as we move into the month of July.

First on July 16th, the stars of the Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week will invade Legendary Hilltop for a second time, to finish some unfinished business. The originally schedule June 18th show saw excellent car count’s and a “who’s, who” of regional dirt racing stars. On track activities was halted due to weather in Late Model qualifying and officials decided to postpone the on-track activities until a later date. The make-up show on Thursday July 16th is sure to be a “can’t miss” event for race fans. Those who were in attendance at the originally scheduled show can use their proof of admission from June 18th on the rescheduled July 16th date. (Show Includes: Late Models, Modifieds & 4 Cylinders)

On Friday July 24th, Sprint Car racing will return to Legendary Hilltop after a 30 plus year wait as the B.O.S.S. Non Wing Sprint Car’s will get set to do battle at the long popular ¼ mile track. The originally scheduled program set for July 19th was postponed due to weather and the track staff along with B.O.S.S. officials worked to realign their schedules so Legendary Hilltop could be part one, of a back to back race weekend for the Sprints. The new date is sure to help add even more excitement to this already highly anticipated event and fan’s will not want to miss this action packed night of racing! Lastly, on Friday August 7th, Legendary Hilltop will hold the highly anticipated 7th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial. The excitement amongst fan’s and teams was high going into the originally scheduled June 26th show, but Mother Nature would rain on the fun and force a postponement. With the new date set, the AMRA Modified show paying over $17,800 is sure to once again come with a great deal of excitement and deliver another special night of racing in this Memorial event’s 7th running. Fans who attended the originally scheduled show can use their proofs of admission at any race up to and including the rescheduled Greg Schilling Memorial.
