Renegades Set To Kick-Off Northern Tour & ‘Monster Mod Weekend’

(Middlebourne, WV) – The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts has officially shifted into high gear as they get set for events eight and nine this weekend. However, the Northern contingent of Renegades are just now getting their opportunity to hit the touring dirt during the 4th Annual “Monster Modified Weekend” presented by Pit Apparel Crew Gear. The twosome of $1,500 to win main events will continue the Renegades of Dirt ‘Road To Wythe’ campaign that has averaged thirty four cars per event thus far in 2015.

On Friday Night, April 17th the tour will return to ‘The Bullring’ for yet another epic ¼ mile showdown. The Tyler County Speedway officially opens the lid on the 2015 season hosting the ‘Beasts of the East’ for the 2nd Annual “Friday Night Lights”, a rare but beautiful sight for race fans of the ‘Bullring’. A clean slate awaits Renegade of Dirt hopefuls as they seek a lucrative Northern points lead while Huntersville, NC’s Derrick Ramey continues to top the National & Southern tour points.

Heading into it’s 41st year of racing action the dirt oval located just three miles South of Middlebourne, WV will also showcase all other regular divisions with a $500 to win ‘Pat Herrick Memorial’ Mod-Lite special also on tap. The general admission is set at a family friendly $12 for the evening with the Pits priced at just $30. Gates are set to open at 4:30pm with racing action set to get underway at 6:30pm.

On Sunday the Renegades of Dirt Northern Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts will head to the ‘Buckeye State’ for an afternoon matinee in Marietta, OH as the Legendary Hilltop Speedway hosts a day of racing action set to get underway at 3pm. A who’s who cast is expected to be in attendance including NASCAR/DIRT racer David Stremme, 2014 champion Kyle Strickler, New York’s Rich Michael Jr., as well as local Renegades DJ Cline, Jason Brookover, Tyler Evans, and many more.

The Legendary Hilltop Speedway is located adjacently along the Ohio River on St.Rt. 7 at 863 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, OH 45750.
