(Middlebourne, WV) Officials from the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sports Shirts and the Tyler County Speedway are excited to announce the unveil of an all new Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour and national modified crown jewel event for 2015. The official press announcement comes a week after the Renegades of Dirt social media was set ‘a buzz’ by thousands of race fans from across the country when Renegade of Dirt PR staff began it’s aggressive campaign to share the exciting news on the new event. Since, the announcement has trended nationwide reaching popular modified websites, high traffic Facebook race sites, and hundreds of racers from dozens of states across North America.

Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour officials are pleased to announce their new signature event, the inaugural “Modified MEGA 100”, July 9-11th, 2015 at the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV! The “MEGA 100” boasts the richest purse in not only the tours forty four month history but to ever hit the Eastern United States. An unprecedented total payout that reaches well over $80,000 dollars with an anticipated $20,000+ worth of bonus cash & contingencies to be added throughout the 324 days left leading up to the event. Starting thirty cars in Saturday’s A-Main with the winner taking home $12,000 dollars and $1,200 being paid just to start…it’s easy to see how “MEGA” this event really is. A modified racers dream weekend with at least $350 dollars guaranteed to the top fifty cars, four hundred laps of total race action, and an early entry fee of just $125 dollars makes it the most lucrative purse to entry ratio in the entire country.

Full ‘MEGA 100′ A-Main Purse: 1) $12000, 2) $7000, 3) $5000, 4) $4000, 5) $3500, 6) $3000, 7) $2750, 8)$2500, 9) $2250, 10) $2000, 11) $1800, 12) $1600, 13) $1550, 14) $1500, 15) $1450, 16) $1400, 17) $1350, 18) $1300, 19) $1275, 20) $1250, 21) $1235, 22) $1225, 23) $1215, 24) $1200, 25) $1200, 26) $1200, 27) $1200, 28) $1200, 29) $1200, 30) $1200.

“To say we’ve done something big is an understatement. It’s Mega and the event is just getting started” stated Watson. “I doubt most of it has sank in for a lot of people yet. Only one event in the entire country matches this modified races A-Main payout” added Watson. “We wanted to release the info early so we had a lot of time to promote this event and give people plenty of time to plan their vacation for it” continued Watson. “It’s crucial for the success of the event to have everyone’s support and to have a large crowd witness this history making weekend. Race fans can also be assured their will be plenty of fireworks “Renegade Style” on and off the track during the weekend” concluded Watson.

The event also features a unique format that has been gaining ground at other venues throughout the country because of it’s ability to provide a plethora of passing. On Friday night Renegade of Dirt Modifieds will compete in two sets of heat races lined up by their random pill draw. If a driver starts on the pole of their first heat, they will start on the tail of their second heat, and vice versa with all positions. For the most part all drivers will be paired with a new group of cars for each heat race. Each driver’s finish in their two heat races, with Passing Points added in, will be tallied and used to line up Saturday’s Feature and B-Mains. Race fans will witness a total of 192 laps throughout sixteen intense heat races where racers will vie for lucrative passing points to lock into Saturday’s main event.

Only the top twelve in Friday night’s passing points will lock into spots 1-12 in Saturday night’s feature. All others will participate in one of six Saturday B-Mains where two will advance from each then third place through fifth place from the B-Mains plus four provisionals will return to the speedway for one last shot where three more will advance into the ‘MEGA 100′. Lastly, three provisionals including a qualifier, a Renegade high points, and a early bird entry (randomly selected out of those who enter by Nov. 1st) will round out the thirty car star studded roster.

Although the modified purse already makes it a fan favorite event for 2015 the Tyler County Speedway & Renegades of Dirt aren’t stopping there. They’ve also announced there will be a pair of $5,000 to win Super Late Model shows in conjunction with the “MEGA 100”. On Friday night Super Late Model teams will draw pills and run a complete show paying the 40 lap feature winner $5,000 to win. Then Saturday night the unique twist, the top twelve finishers from Friday will invert and that’s how they will start the Saturday main event. All remaining participants will redraw for heat race starting spots and begin the process of making the A-Main through a heat or last chance race like a typical race night. After the field is set they will participate in another 40 lap $5,000 to win main event on Saturday night.

In addition the FASTRAK Pro Late Models will be in action on the weekend for $3000 to win, STARS ModLites and EDGE Hotmods will participate for $1200 to win, FWD 4Cylinders will battle for $250 to win, and the MWRA Mini-Wedges will duel for “MEGA” sized trophies. Thursday night July 9th will be an open practice for all divisions. This will also be the park night for the upper pit area as well as a “MEGA” pre-race party to kick off the weekend.
